This artwork, created in 2022, brings together two distinct elements: a metal machine that drives an iron wheel and a sculpted flint rock in the form of an abstract face.

The collision of these elements recreates the process of fire-making, a fundamental aspect of human history and culture.
As the iron wheel strikes the flint rock, sparks fly, echoes our ancient ancestors use of these materials to generate fire.
The Work also deal with the transformation of non-human materials into technological tools that shape our world and how throughout history, societies have woven myths around fire-making, elevating ordinary objects to symbols of great power.
