Pasture

The work 'pasture' absorbs the summer breeze and generates sounds of moving herds.
This is a site-specific work that was placed on the Schroever Promenade in Jerusalem, in the summer of 2020.
The work uses the elusive element, air, as it moves from east to west every summery afternoon, awakaning the spirit of dozens of herds that have grazed throughout history in this geographical area.
The sounds of the bells are based on the random gusts of wind, and their behavior is chaotic, similar to the way the flock moves.
